The reserve DLCs just provide variety and most come with some kind of neat weapon or other feature (like Parque Fernando has an archery range) to sweeten the deal and entice you to buy. The thing to remember about the reserves is that the first two reserves, which come stock with the main game (Hirshfelden and Layton Lakes), are each huge, HUGE and fun maps, and you do not need any other reserve.
