Overall: I'm an Engineering Graduate Student. are super useful to share and collaborate on documents even if the feedback giver is not proficient with Lucidchart. The different ways to share and collaborate like publish links, pdf, png, hyperlinks etc. Layers are one of my favorite features because it allows to showcase multiple views of a diagram without taking up too much real estate and is so easy to show/hide based on user preferences. Version history feature and status label on the diagrams comes in handy to track revision control as well. Lucid just allows you to configure anything you can think of and that is what makes it super powerful. I have also categorized it my diagram type and project type. I have my own template sets and custom shapes that I use most often saved to my favorites. The quick virtual tour is very helpful when it comes to knowing all the different available features.

Pros: The features I like most about this software is the easy set up and I can get going right away. In diagrams, there are also smart diagrams which keep your diagram clean and tidy. There is also a layering feature in Lucidchart which intuitively allows you to create diagrams within diagrams.
They are quite conventional among diagramming software so it took me very little time to learn. Moreover, Lucidchart has many keyboard shortcuts to make work a lot more efficient and fast. Not only this but Lucidchart also has great collaboration features that allow users to work together on a diagram in real time. There are also mobile apps available which is useful to have. The user experience is really good all around and the user interface is straightforward and intuitive. The web app is incredibly responsive and smooth to use, which can be experienced when resizing and moving elements on a canvas.

Pros: Lucidchart is definitely one of the best diagramming software out there and it is very beginner friendly. So if you need anything like that, jump in and give it a shot. I could stay in Google Drive and create these mind maps. For me, it was Google Drive that just made things so simple. And then they have several other integrations. So you're going to know really quickly if it's right for you.

The features are there, even in that free trial. Mostly because it is so easy to get started and they do have that free trial, so you can jump in and play with the whole thing. So if you're considering Lucidchart, give it a shot for sure. So those two things together made it really simple to get started. Even when you start creating a mind map, you've got access to these tutorials and get things figured out very quickly.
But they also make it really simple to get tutorials. And I really want it to be easy just like that. One, just how I jump into these softwares, I just start playing and clicking. Pretty darn easy to get started enrolling with Lucidchart, on two fronts. The other thing that they have is a Google Drive integration, which is really slick. It's very easy, not only in the templates that they give you, so you can start from scratch if you want to, but you can start with all these different versions of the mind maps to really get you going.īut I did need something quick, so I could just jump in, start from a blank page and just put some blocks together and get. And there was enough value even there that I could move forward with it.

And there were just enough limitations to it that it just didn't make sense to keep that paying subscription going. So before Lucidchart, I had a subscription to XMind, that I was using for all my mind mapping kind of things. I'm an agency owner and I give Lucidchart a four out of five.
